ICL surgery involves inserting a small, biocompatible lens into the eye to correct refractive errors, providing an alternative to LASIK and PRK for those who are not suitable candidates. The Collamer lens, placed either behind the iris and in front of the natural lens, enhances the eye's focusing abilities. The procedure is reversible and the ICL can be replaced if the patient's vision changes significantly over time.
